Terms of Service

Last updated: June 25, 2026  ·  Version 1.0

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Schedgy mobile application and related services (the "Service"), operated by Schedgy ("Schedgy," "we," "our," or "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create a Schedgy account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the date of birth you provide is accurate. We may suspend or terminate accounts found to belong to users under 13.

Your Account

User-Generated Content

Schedgy lets you post content including profile photos, event details, event cover photos, comments, and messages ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content.

By posting User Content, you grant Schedgy a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the Service (for example, displaying your profile photo and public events to other users). This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except where it has already been shared with other users in ways that may persist (e.g., a screenshot, or a comment left on someone else's event).

Prohibited Content & Conduct

You may not use Schedgy to post or transmit content that:

We may remove content or suspend/terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice.

Reporting & Content Moderation

You can report events, users, or messages directly within the app. Reports are reviewed and may result in content removal, warnings, or account suspension/termination at our discretion. We do not guarantee a specific response time but aim to review reports promptly.

Copyright (DMCA) Policy

If you believe content on Schedgy infringes your copyright, send a written notice to dmca@getschedgy.com including: (1) identification of the copyrighted work, (2) identification of the allegedly infringing material and its location in the app, (3) your contact information, (4) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized, and (5) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner. We will remove or disable access to material we determine infringes, and may terminate accounts of repeat infringers.

Third-Party Content & Services

Schedgy's Discover feed displays local event listings sourced from third-party providers (such as Skiddle). We do not control and are not responsible for the accuracy of third-party event information. Attending any event is at your own risk and subject to that event's own terms.

Disclaimer of Warranties; Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Schedgy is a platform that hosts content created by users and third parties; we do not endorse and are not responsible for User Content or third-party event listings.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Schedgy and its officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or abusive behavior, or for any other reason, with or without notice.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will increment the version number and may require you to re-accept the Terms in the app before continuing to use the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
